• Alan and I both really like Reese Witherspoon in Alexander Payne’s Election (1999). Pick Flick!
• Alexander Payne did in fact direct Sideways (2004). He and Jim Taylor even won the Academy Award for Best Writing, Adapted Screenplay for the film.
