- The third season of Twin Peaks (1990–1991) will air on Showtime 25 years after season two ended
- Dumb and Dumberer: When Harry Met Lloyd (2003) featured Derek Richardson as Harry and Eric Christian Olsen as Lloyd
- Alan was totally right, Dumb and Dumber (1994) was a huge hit years before There’s Something About Mary (1998)
- Jeff Daniels plays Flap Horton in Terms of Endearment (1983)
- Jim Carrey had a huge year in 1994—Dumb and Dumber was released on Dec 2 but he also starring in Ace Venture: Pet Detective (Feb 4) and The Mask (July 29) that year
- Matt Damon and Greg Kinnear star as conjoined twins in the Farrelly brothers’ Stuck on You (2003)
- Carrey did write an editorial about vaccines for the Huffington Post in 2009: The Judgment on Vaccines Is In???
